Stream Energy Cares About its Community

Stream Energy never fails to jump in and help out when they can. They have used money that they have acquired from its successful business sales to invest in helping others. Corporate philanthropy is a big part of their philosophy, and they recently launched their “Stream Cares” foundation to reach out to those in need. When Hurricane Harvey struck in Texas, they used their resources to help those who had lost everything, including their hope.

Stream Energy is just one of many examples of corporate companies with a heart and America overall is very generous and giving. In 2016 alone, nearly $19 billion was donated to charities in America as well as in other countries. However, according to WalletHub, Texas is one of the least generous states so this is a good way to get the ball rolling.

Stream Energy has partnered with Hope Supply Company, and together they have covered the entrance fee and meal costs for over 1,000 homeless children in Dallas with the annual Splash for Hope. Hope Supply Co. provides essentials such as diapers, clothing, school supplies, and more to homeless children in the Dallas area.

Stream Energy is all about helping others, and they also support the veterans and their families in the Dallas-area. With Operation Once in a Lifetime, Stream Energy provides financial and moral support to the veterans and hosts a December meal fit for a king at a high-end Texas restaurant. They also co-host the American Girl Doll Experience for ten lucky daughters of military members.

Stream Energy loves their community and is doing all that it can to lift Dallas up through passion, generosity, and by helping the disadvantaged and less fortunate. Philanthropy and leadership play a very big role in the business of the company, and they’re aware of the problems that plagues the Dallas area such as homelessness. Instead of turning a blind eye, the company has decided to make a difference in the lives of those who need the most help. Homelessness has increased by 24% in Dallas, and Stream associates are always looking for ways to help.

Recently he did an interview with Interview.net where he answered questions about his latest passion, transcranial magnetic stimulation or TMS. This new treatment will help people who are suffering from depression.

Ara Chackerian along with other TMS leaders realized that inadequate insurance coverage, and qualified technicians were some of the reasons that prevented most people from receiving Transcranial magnetic stimulation as a treatment option. Ara stated during his interview that his vision was is to design a treatment model that enables the doctor to incorporate a “patient first” method of medical care.

A champion of promoting better healthcare, Ara Chackerian posts on his blog the Medium, and goes on to talk of the “Ending the Stigma of Suicide“. So many famous deaths have dominated the news lately, that people are finally wanting more ways to spot and prevent suicide. Yet, many are unwilling to speak on the subject.

Ara Chackerian says the stigma or taboo of such a subject keeps many from opening up to one another about the problem. Yet, each year the family or friends believe they should have done something or known something was wrong. After some recent famous deaths of Kate Spade and Anthony Bourdain, The National Suicide Prevention Lifeline became inundated with calls. The major problem in eradicating the stigma is for people to open up and speak about it because many don’t realize that a loved one is thinking about ending their life.

Adam Milstein: The Threat of Anti-Semitism

Adam Milstein is a well-known, successful philanthropist. He is a self-made millionaire, real estate broker, and pro-Israel activist. He is the co-founder of the Adam Milstein Foundation. The non-profit organization donates $1 million every year to support other organizations that are providing health care assistance to the Jewish and Israel communities. The primary goal of the effort is to provide healthcare coverage to the less fortunate. Adam Milstein is also a gifted author and has a number of articles on the Jewish News Syndicate publication. Each item he writes focuses on spreading the word, increasing awareness and initiating positive change to protect Israel and the Jewish people. One interesting piece is, “Unlikely Radical Alliances Fan the Flames of Anti-Semitism Worldwide,” The article outlines how two rival groups join forces because they share the same hate for freedom of speech and western influence. Radical Muslims and Leftists form a massive threat to the Jewish community.

They blame Jews for every global issue which makes no sense. Adam Milstein also talks about the oppression that innocent men, women, and children face. Radical Muslims and Leftists collaborating double the threat of anti-Semitism. Unless good leaders step forward and made the necessary changes to stop the violence, it will only get worse. Jews are regarded as being less than human. It is not fair. Nor should Radical Muslims and leftists get away with discrimination, hate, and bigotry.

One of the main issues with anti-Semitism is that there are Jews that are unknowingly promoting it. In order to be a part of the solution, one cannot be a part of the problem. One example that Adam Milstein uses is a Jewish student at a college university who assisted in creating a guide that referred to Israel as a white supremacist state. It doesn’t make sense for a Jew to talk about Israel in this matter. What makes this example more interesting is that the same student admitted that they were Jewish and that they were not anti-Semitic. In this case, being Jewish doesn’t mean that you are against anti-Semitism. The bigger issue is that they do not know the difference.
