José Borghi is Among the Top Most Influential Advertisers In Brazil

José Borghi is the founder of the Old Borghi Lowe currently known as Mullen Lowe Agency. The firm is known for its influential advertising strategies. José Borghi is the creator of the great campaigns such as the Sazón when Zeze di Carmago and Luciana, ‘Is Love,’ became a hit. It remains memorable to date. The other campaign is the Mammals Parmalat where kids dressed like stuffed animals then sang great giggles.He was not sure about pursuing advertising in school or not until his sister invited him to watch a performance in Castro Neves Theater. AIG Under Fire Over Alleged Breach Of Contract

The New Hampshire Insurance Company, also referred to as AIG Insurance, has been sued by the previous owners of NBA franchise Atlanta Hawks. The insurers have been accused of breach of contract by, Danny Ferry, the former general manager of the Atlanta Hawks Basketball and Entertainment LLC (AHBE). According to AHBE, AIG should compensate them for losses incurred since the company was covered for any financial loss arising from certain employment practice work incidences comprising of, but not limited to Workplace Torts and Wrongful Termination. AHBE termed the lawsuit as civil action resulting from insurance bad faith and breach of contract on the part of the insurance company.

The lawsuit demands settlement for incurred losses under the breach of contract claim. AHBE states that AIG actively refused to defend the policy during talks between the franchise and AHBE. AIG also declined to acknowledge that the claim has been triggered. Atlanta Hawks current ownership admitted that they know about the claim and clarified that the current ownership was not involved in any of it. Danny Ferry and his team want an extra 50% of unpaid settlement funds plus all attorney related costs and fees. The insurance company did give any response to the lawsuit. The Rift Between Relmada Therapeutics and Laidlaw & Company

At the beginning of 2016, a well-known clinical state company filed an amended complaint against Laidlaw & Company. This company is Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. which develops novel therapies for treating chronic pain. It happened in the District of Nevada where Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. filed the complaint in the United States District Court. In my opinion, this motion is a part of the lawsuit which Relmada Therapeutics, Inc. earlier filed in the same court. It is based on the breach of duty by Laidlaw & Company. Relmada claims that Laidlaw intentionally disclosed the confidential information which it received as Relmada’s investor. What more I came to know is that Relmada also seeks financial damages which it is facing due to this lawsuit. Relmada claims that in the December 2015, Laidlaw used misleading and false documents about their company.

I also found out that Nevada District Court earlier issued a restraining order prohibiting Laidlaw’s principals’—James Ahern and Matthew Eitner—for spreading misleading and false proxy materials. My opinion is that the Board of the Directors of Relmada believes that they suffered due to the actions of Laidlaw. Therefore, the UK-based investment company must compensate them for the all the damages, and it must be prevented from bothering them afterward.

I am quite surprised to know this information because Laidlaw & Company enjoys a great repute. They are providing transparent and independent financial advice for over one hundred and seventy years. Many institutional and individual clients seek their services for alternative and traditional investment solutions. Laidlaw has offices in Europe and the United States with a staff of over one hundred and fifty people. The FINRA registration and dual FAC authorization allows Laidlaw to serve global clients, pursue new businesses and develop relationships. I like the entrepreneurial culture and strong work ethics of this firm, but what it has done to Relmada is regretful.

Ex-Hawks Owners Sue Insurance Company Over Ferry Dismissal:

It has been over a year-and-a-half since the former ownership group of the Atlanta Hawks dismissed General Manager Danny Ferry. Still, controlling partner Bruce Levenson and his fellow ex-owners are dealing with the fallout. The latest issue involves a lawsuit filed by the group against New Hampshire Insurance Group, also known as AIG. The suit, filed in Fulton County Superior Court, claims a breach of contract on the part of AIG.

According to Time.com, Ferry was dismissed in June of 2015 as Hawks GM by Levenson’s ownership group, Atlanta Hawks Basketball and Entertainment LLC (AHBE) following a buyout of Ferry’s contract. Levenson and his group claim they were covered by AIG for losses that occurred from certain employee actions, including claims of wrongful termination. AIG officials have refused to comment on the matter. Officials with the Atlanta Hawks stated the lawsuit has nothing to do with the current ownership group, and will not comment on it.

Levenson is a graduate of American University law school in Washington D.C. He started out as a newspaper reporter before founding United Communications Group. In 2004, Levenson formed the group then known as Atlanta Spirit LLC to purchase the Hawks. In 2015, the team was sold to a group led by equity fund manager Anthony Ressler.
